MUFASA'S PEANUTBUTTER COOKIES
 
Recipe Introduction
Mufasa's Peanut Butter Cookies, a culinary masterpiece heartily approved by Mufasa.To be fed only to dogs who have trouble maintaining weight(great for dogs on the show circuit)
 
List of Ingredients
1 lb raw regular ground beef
1 egg
1 cup of smooth peanut butter
1 cup uncooked oats
1 cup wheat germ
1 pkg cream cheese
2 Tbsp molasses
 
Recipe
Mix all ingredients together, and form into single serving patties.
(for an adult Miniature Dachshund patties are about 2 inches across
and 1/2 inch thick.) Will last in fridge for two days. Freeze patties
between wax paper for longer storage.
 
Will make about 3 dozen cookies.
 

NON WHEAT TREATS

You can use any non wheat flour for this recipe
 
List of Ingredients
 
3/4 CUP HOT WATER
1/3 CUP MARGARINE (vegetable)
1 TEASPOON SALT
6 TEASPOON GARLIC
1 EGG BEATEN ( SHELL AND ALL)
3 CUPS BARLEY FLOUR
 
Recipe
IN A LARGE BOWL POUR HOT WATER OVER THE MARGARINE, ALLOW MARGARINE TO MELT.
 
STIR IN THE SALT AND THE EGG. ADD THE FLOUR, 1/2 CUP AT A TIME.
 
KNEAD FOR A FEW MINUTES TO FORM A STIFF DOUGH.
 
PAT OR ROLL TO 1/2 INCH THICKNESS.
CUT INTO PIECES.
 
BAKE BISCUITS AT 325 DEGREES FOR 50 MINUTES. COOL
THEY WILL DRY QUITE HARD. MAKES ABOUT 1 1/4 POUNDS OF BISCUITS.
 
 
 
TAZ COOKIES
 
Recipe Introduction
Dogs will flip over them and they cost about 1 dollar a batch.
 
List of Ingredients
 
3/4 Cup Hot Water
1/3 Cup Margarine
1/2 Cup Powdered Milk
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Egg, Beaten
3 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
6 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
 
 
Recipe
In a large bowl pour hot water over the margarine. Stir in powdered milk, salt and egg. Add the flour, 1/2 a cup at a time. Knead for a few minutes to form stiff dough. Pat or roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into bone shapes.
Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool.
They will dry out quite hard.
 
Makes about 1 1/4 pounds of biscuits.
